Welcome to the Illustration Station forum. We are a friendly, open and honest community of illustrators and image makers from various backgrounds and disciplines.

As you may know, being an freelance illustrator can be a lonely profession, and I hope that this forum can go some way to introduce some (albeit virtual) interaction with others. This forum aims to cater for a wide range of discussion, ranging from professional practices, critique of work in progress, technical queries and general chat - Please feel free to join in, if you are nice and polite, I guarentee you will have the same courtesy returned. :)

Part of this forum's (and previous incarnations) success has been through honesty. It's never been easier to promote yourself online, therefore, I do ask that when you register that you please supply some form of link to a selection of your work (either a website, blog, myspace page etc) so we can see what you do. All registrations have to be validated by me, and any that don't feature either your real name which I can search on Google, an e-mail address or a website link will either be asked to provide the necessary information, or will just not be validated. We want to encourage free speech and expression here, and it's a whole lot easier to do that if you know who's going to be reading it.

Also, it would be most appriciated if you could take some time to introduce yourself so we can all say hello. :wave:
